Came for BITSAT, stayed for the CET and VIT crash courses

There were times in the earlier phases when I did not score well.
Shreyash, verbatim from the interview above

01 · The journey A slow start, then it got interesting

Shreyash says he was not very focused when class 11 began, and found chemistry hard while physics came comparatively easily. His marks fluctuated and so did his performance at coaching. What changed it was putting time in: once he did, he found the topics genuinely interesting and was glad he had picked the stream. He is clear that the low stretch came early, before he started giving it time.

02 · The turning point Found the other courses on the website

He came across Phodu Club online while looking for BITSAT resources, around August or September. On social media he had only ever seen BITSAT material, but the website showed him there were other courses too — including the CET one he took. After his first BITSAT attempt did not go well he signed up for the BITSAT, CET and VIT crash courses together.

03 · What worked A test series that spans the range

What convinced him were the reviews of the BITSAT test series: if that was good, he reasoned, the CET and VIT ones would be too. On CET he makes a careful point — nobody can predict the difficulty of the paper that actually turns up, so what he valued was a series running the full span from easy to hard, which he says not many test series provide.

Easy-to-hard test series

Covers the range because the real paper's difficulty cannot be predicted in advance.

Chapter revision notes

A per-chapter PDF he could reopen and get through in fifteen to twenty minutes.

I'm Sh Goel. Uh currently passed out, currently finished 12th with my boards and everything and this living life currently.

Okay. So how was your 11th and 12th? Like what were your up and downs and what were your challenges in that journey?

Up and downs basically when I started 11th I was like not very focused towards my studies and found uh chemistry a bit hard. uh physics was comparatively easy and maths there were not like many hard topics in the beginning so I wasn't finding it that hard but as soon as I started like uh giving my time into studies and like I found it very interesting and I really liked the topics that have been taught to me in 11th and 12th and from there on it was just up uphill like there were ups and downs basically in my marks and fluctuations and everything uh like in uh my performance in my coaching but overall it was a very fun experience Okay, cool. At any point of time, did you feel like quitting or feeling like things are not going as they should?

There were times in the earlier phases when I did not score well. But later on when I started giving time into it, then I found it very interesting. I was like I was happy that I took this stream and was very glad.

Uh in middle of all these things going so how did you get to know about Phodu Club like how did you come across it? uh online when I was finding resources for Bitstat, I came across Phodu Club and I saw that other than Bits like I only saw Bitstat related stuff on social media and stuff. But when I uh checked their website, I saw that there were other courses as well. for example, C course which I took. Uh after that uh like my first attempt of bits did not go so that well uh so I decided to take on Phodu Club's bits as well as CD and also VIT's crash course.

So what convinced you to join Phodu Club? What like what was that thing?

I saw many good reviews about Phodu Club's bits test series. So I was confident that their C test series as well as the V test series would be good and uh I got to know about Phodu Club around last year October or it's not not October August September.

How relevant was our uh products like uh test series crash course and mentorship for MHT CET crash course and test series. Okay, for MHT CET the questions were very much relevant but we cannot obviously predict the difficulty that uh uh like what difficulty of the paper might come. So in general when I like solve the test series there were all levels of paper from easier from easy to hard which was a very good thing because not a lot of test series provide that. So beside of the main crash course, how did you find our uh uh like how did you use our tools uh preparation tech and uh college predictor and cover revision notes and all revision notes I like uh whenever I needed to quickly revise a certain topic or something that I had forgotten I would just uh open the uh PDF file of the uh respective chapter and just go through it quickly in 15 to 20 minutes that would help me a lot and also uh the other things such as the uh on the main website you could find the English like English and also logical reasoning other tools uh like daily practice problems uh which I solved uh which also helped me in bits and regarding the college predictor and also the bits mark score that was also really helpful. One last thing Sh if someone is uh willing to join Phodu Club and they are still confused like whether to join or not what would you say to him?

I would definitely suggest him Phodu Club compared to other test series because it is affordable and also it provides a great uh like user interface but very helpful and very easy like uh easy to navigate interface and also the questions are very relevant to the actual CD papers. Okay, that's

Preparing for MHT-CET and want a test series built around the real exam pattern?
