198 to 283 between BITSAT sessions one and two
But after joining uh Phodu Club, I got 283 marks uh in session two only due to their mock tests.
01 · The journey A coaching centre closing mid-preparation
Vaibhav prepared for JEE at a coaching centre in South Delhi, and moved to another branch when centres began shutting down. He describes his own centre — the head office — closing in the middle of February as the low phase of his journey: many of the strong teachers left, and he felt he was being taught badly during the period that mattered most.
02 · The turning point Results below what he expected
Having finished both JEE Main and Advanced previous-year questions, he expected a 99 percentile and got 97, with 92 in one session. He scored 93.2% in boards but did not qualify JEE Advanced. His first BITSAT session gave him 198.
03 · What worked Mocks as the thing that carried him
He joined in May and worked through the mock tests and open tests, going from 198 in session one to 283 in session two. He is specific that the mocks themselves kept his morale up: scoring 250 or 260 made BITS feel reachable, and a 220 would knock him back until the next mock. He chose the platform after seeing it was built by BITSians.
Mock tests
The score-to-score feedback loop was what kept him going through a difficult stretch.
Open tests
He sat the open tests alongside the series, crediting both for the 85-mark jump.

Hello everyone. I'm Aryam, a student at BITS Pilani. Today, we have our clubmate with us who cracked BITSAT using Phodu Club. So, hi. Can you tell us about yourself, your name, where are you from, and your scores in BITSAT?
My name is Vaibhav, and I am from Mathura. And my BITSAT score in session one was 198 marks, and in session two, it was 283 marks.
Okay, Vaibhav. So, can you guide us about your journey and how was your 11th and 12th?
I prepared I prepared for JEE JEE from FIITJEE coaching in South Delhi from in Hauz Khas. And uh in 11th, when FIITJEE shut down, I came to Akash South Ex branch uh and continued my preparation from there.
All right. That sounds That sounds amazing. So, like what were your tough phases and like ups and downs, which is very normal in a student's life. So, can you like tell us about that?
Um one of my tough phases is when the FIITJEE was going down, and almost all the centers were shut down. Uh my center was shut down in almost mid of February, and at the time uh I was very confused that will the FIITJEE survive or not as my center was the head office. So, uh many teacher many good teachers left the coaching, but uh but the bad teachers were left that were teaching really very bad. So, it was my uh lower phase in the journey where I was taught wrong wrongly or badly uh and that phase I somehow survived that phase. But after that, fast forward to ending of 11th, um then when I gave my JEE JEE Mains, I was thinking that I will surely score 99% because I finished all the JEE Mains PYQs as well as advanced PYQs. But when the when I matched my scores, it was only 97 and in session one, somehow I scored 92 percentile, which was a really setback for me and uh my parents were really like you failed in the JEE examination JEE Mains examination. But somehow I prepared for boards and I did great in boards. I scored 93.2 percentage. Then uh came advanced examination. I gave advanced, but uh some uh unfortunately, I did not qualify it and I scored only 89 marks in it. But thanks to Phodu Club uh which I joined in May uh uh which I joined in May, I gave my uh BITSAT session one exam in which I scored only 198 marks. But after joining uh Phodu Club, I got 283 marks uh in session two only due to their mock tests. I gave all of their mock tests as well as their open tests. Uh it was a very it was very useful for me.
Okay. So, that sounds like you were always motivated. What kept you going throughout this phase? And like you scored such a great marks, 280 plus in BITSAT. That's not a simple task. So, can you tell uh what actually kept you going?
I will say that only the mock tests were the thing that kept me going because when I give mock test and when I get a higher marks, for example, a 250 or 260 marks, I got boom like, "Yeah, I can go to BITS." I My only target was go to BITS, not to score a great score. Uh I was thinking that I should not take a drop. I was taking a drop almost. Uh so, 250 260 marks was good for me in the Phodu Club tests. Uh the day when I scored 220 marks or 230 marks, I was somehow a little depressed, but it still I gave another mock test and I scored 250 to 60. That gave me a chill feeling, a cool feeling.
All right, that's great, Vaibhav. So, coming to the most important question. For some viewers who are sitting at the fence or about deciding whether to take the Phodu Club or not. So, what would you suggest for them?
I took Phodu Club using YouTube advertisements and when I saw the YouTube when I saw your your Phodu Club YouTube channel, I got to know that this Phodu Club website or app is made by Bitsians. That was a really good thing for me that Bitsians are teaching about BITSAT. So, I trusted them and purchased Phodu Club and yes, I will uh uh I will always I must have equal amount I can go on that He Phodu Club say he created a lot Phodu Club by the other many of you copy by the other many of you 98 marks I do about 283 marks Phodu Club by the other many of you may I 100% get that one.
Vaibhav, we are so glad that you got such a big rise in the marks. Thank you so much for coming with us. All right, thank you. Bye.
