Uh hi I'm uh Suryanshu I secured a rank of 166 uh in uh UG uh I have I got around 6.3K in advance and my uh bit score was around 260 um I think that's about it and then I also uh did take coaching from 11th I did not have any prior coaching where I majorly studied for Jes and uh I basically uh prepared for UGEE through Phodu Club. Yeah. Okay.
So can you tell about your 11th and 12th as a journey? So while shifting from 10th to 11th when I wrote my boards I still had bit of a dilemma whether to choose MPC or buy PC but then I made it like settled on MPC. So I'd say one of the major issues I faced while the shift from 10th grade to like 11th would be the curriculum because I don't feel like the 10th curriculum and the 11th curriculum are that uh like small of a gap to overcome in such a small time especially in depth for uh let's say exams like JEE Mains and advance.
So I would say that was a bit of a challenging thing. So how did you come across Phodu Club and what made you join it? Okay.
So I mainly came across Phodu Club from other people who had used Phodu Club. Uh but I had not come across it for I had come across it for bits. Uh then upon uh researching about a bit more into Phodu Club because I wanted to write u and have some preparation for it.
I came across that Phodu Club also has a UGEE test series. So it was majorly from uh like my friends from whom I got to know about Phodu Club. And then I decided that this seems to be a nice test series and then this is giving me a sort of ample practice for a exam which is unpredictable but still it's better to have some practice.
So I decided to go along with it. So what do you like about photo? I like the interface a lot because as we know the UGEE is separated into two different parts.
One is the super and one is the reap. So the super is logged such that till the 1 hour is completed you cannot go into the reap section of the exam. So this wasn't really something I found in other places and because Phodu Club was advertising that their interface is very uh u oriented that is one of the aspects I liked also the collection of questions I would say is pretty relevant uh at least for the super part I would say the read part as well uh it's the read part is very well balanced I would say across all aspects the linguistics part the reasoning part the mathematics part the physics part, the intuition part, they're all pretty well balanced.
It's a very good mix of all the ears which you get from the mock I would say. So, uh the super I would say is like a light JEE Mains version. Sometimes uh I had come across an old PQ of JEE Advanced in the super part as well.
But then uh yeah, I would say the super is pretty well balanced as well. uh trying to simulate what actual UGEE is about in the super as well as super is not a very high impact section it's mainly the reap right so that is one thing and then what else is there yeah and then in reap as I said it's very well balanced so the in the mocks which were conducted by Phodu Club and um yeah that's about it I would say okay so if like let's say someone is unsure about whether to join Phodu Club. So, so what would you tell them?
I would tell them see UGEE is an unpredictable exam. But at the very la like at like if you're preparing for it, you want to prepare for it. You don't want to go into a battlefield with no preparation, no gear, no armor.
It is better to keep your head in a state where like you know what might come what might not come. See uh Phodu Club is not an actual representation maybe of the UGEE simulation but it's very broad as in uh if you write the exams of HDU club it will give you an ample understanding to what might come in the actual exam. It won't be one to one but definitely there are similarities which prepare you across the board.
So that's one major thing. It's much better to go in prepared at the very least even for something which is unpredictable. So I would say if you are dedicated towards writing the UGEE if you like I want to write this I want to get into IIIT Hyderabad at the very least I should prepare for it.
I would say it's a pretty decent uh like test series in my opinion. It's a good one. In fact not only decent it's a good one I would say in comparison to other one.
So I would say yeah you can try it out definitely. Okay.
