327 in BITSAT, after a first attempt he wasn't satisfied by
And I could not have cracked my score if it had not been for the test series.
01 · The journey Balance across three subjects
Siddhant says the hardest part of his preparation was balancing all three subjects, since the chapters running at any given time were usually harder in two of them than the third. He points to the balance he eventually reached as visible in the results: close to the same marks in each subject across both JEE Main and BITSAT.
02 · The turning point Three days off, then back in
His low point came four or five months into class 11, when ionic equilibrium and rotation arrived together. His response was to take three or four days off to play basketball and see friends, then mentally log back in. His advice from it is simply to take a few days and do what you like, and you will figure out your way.
03 · What worked A series pitched slightly above the exam
After a first BITSAT attempt he was not satisfied with, he bought the test series on the strength of the YouTube channel and reviews from friends. What he singles out is that the level sat a little above the actual exam — not so high as to be discouraging, but enough that the real paper felt easier than the practice. He describes the BITSAT DPPs and material as a good finishing touch for moving from JEE preparation to BITSAT.
Test level
Pitched just above the real exam, so the paper itself felt easier than practice.
BITSAT DPPs
The material worked as a finishing layer on top of existing JEE preparation.

Hello everyone. I'm Harsh, a student from BITS Pilani Pilani campus. And today we have one of our club mates who used Phodu Club to crack BITSAT. So, hi. Tell us your name, where are you from, and what are your scores?
My name is Siddhant. I hail from New Delhi. Uh I was a student of the Phodu Club test series. I scored 327 marks in my BITSAT in my in my BITSAT examination. Uh and I had also scored above 99.6 percentile in JEE Mains.
Okay, Siddhant. That's that's really nice scores. Uh so, like okay, take me a little back, you know, to your class 11th and 12th, you know, the phase of preparation. How did that whole ride go for you?
Personally, it was difficult for me to balance all three subjects because usually almost throughout my JEE preparation, I found the ongoing chapters in two subjects relatively difficult rather than the third. And I'd say that I had a good balance of all three subjects, and that shows in my scores as well, that I had scored almost the same marks in each subject in both JEE Mains and my BITSAT.
So, like how did you go about all the three subjects, and what was your class 11th and 12th specifically? Like what were the points where you felt like which come near nothing is working out. And you felt like, "Oh, I have I got to give up. No, I'm not able to do this." Is that so?
Yes, that had happened during my class 11th, probably four or five months into my JEE preparation when these ionic equilibrium and rotation chapters came along. And uh what I did, I just took three or four days off. I I'm a sports I I enjoy sports a lot. I took those three, four days out the evenings out to play basketball and socialize with my friends. And after those three, four days, I just uh mentally sort of logged in that now I have to study. I also have my first term examination in school. I have coaching tests, so just take a few days off and just do what you like and you'll figure out your way.
That is actually a really nice way to handle this, by the way. Uh, okay, cool. So, uh, where did, you know, Phodu Club come uh, from for you? Like, how did you first uh, stumble across it?
After my BITSAT first attempt, I did not have a score I was satisfied by. Uh, so I had I had uh, seen these the the YouTube channel and and I found it really helpful. So, I I bought the test series. I had also gotten reviews from some of my friends who had bought it uh, since their JEE Mains first attempt. So, I I bought it.
Okay, cool. You got to know from your friends and then you yourself researched about it and you learned about Phodu Club, cool. But like, after taking the uh, course, after experiencing the uh, the the course, what was the one thing that really worked for you with Phodu Club? Like, what really helped you the most when you took the course?
One thing I really noticed about the Phodu Club test series is that uh, their level was a little higher than the BITSAT examination. Not too high uh, to to get yourself motivated, but just enough that you'll find the exam easier than you found the test series. So, that was one thing that really helped me, I would assume.
Okay, and do you want to say anything about uh, the different things that were there in the uh, course?
The Phodu Club material was uh, very sufficient, I would say, for BITSAT. Uh, if you have prepared for JEE Mains even at, you know, not a really high level, you just have a good concept clarity of everything in the JEE syllabus, I feel that uh, the BITSAT the BITSAT DPPs and all the material they provide you is a very good finishing touch to ex- to transition from JEE to BITSAT.
Okay, yeah, very well. And you know, one last question if if someone is, you know, sitting on the fence about Phodu Club being their choice to go with or not, what would you tell them? Or like to make them clear key or whether they should go with it or not.
Based on my personal experience, I feel that uh the the Phodu Club material is highly relevant for the BITSAT examination and you should definitely opt for the Phodu Club test series. And I could not have cracked my score if it had not been for the test series.
All right, okay. Thank you so much, uh Siddhant, for talking with us.
